I love constructing my own foley and creating different soundscapes in all types of projects. Listen to them below!

SOUND DESIGN

Re:Create | A Short Hike

Reaper, Audacity, GarageBand, Zoom H1n Handy

Foley recreation of a clip from A Short Hike. All sounds in this three minute clip were created and edited by me!

What I Did + Learned

  • Analyzed video footage and planned sound effects based on animation movement

  • Foley 30+ tracks and edited in time with gameplay footage

Pliant (Demo)

Reaper, Audacity, GarageBand, Zoom H1n Handy

Pliant is an isometric adventure game where you play as Terry, an anthropomorphic shapeshifting post-it who’s trying to find his way home. Puzzle solve your way out off the desk to escape this place!

Full game in development!

What I Did + Learned

  • Researched sound banks for free use assets and examples for foley

  • Planned, recorded and edited foley assets in Reaper compared to animation clips

  • Composed multiple background music tracks and soundscapes for different gameplay states

  • Imported and worked alongside programmers on implementation in Unity

Don’t Eat Me

Reaper, Audacity, GarageBand, Zoom H1n Handy

In this isometric adventure game, you’ll meet a little Onion who gets her world turned upside-down when she learns that vegetables are raised...to be eaten! Work fast, because there's a chance you might lose your friends, some enemies, or even your roots along the way.

What I Did + Learned

  • Exported edited foley sound effects from Reaper

  • Composed multiple background music tracks in GarageBand and soundscapes in Reaper for different gameplay states

  • Worked with programmer to complete intended design in project engine

  • Revised sound effects from internal and external playtesting critique

Collage Sounds

Reaper

In this project, I was given a set of found audio and was tasked with making a piece out of the selected clips. This soundscape features a mundane office environment that shifts into a drone . As this audio can be looped back to the beginning, it provides a purgatory for the listener.
